Elliott Ruga began his professional career at NBC. Over a span of 17 years, he worked for a variety of divisions at NBC Radio and Television networks, including production and news, sports and broadcast operations.

As a live studio Associate Director, Ruga’s credits include NBC Nightly News, NBC News at Sunrise and Today.

Ruga was awarded two National Sports Emmys for his work on the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona and the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta.

In 2003, Ruga launched his independent production company offering a variety of multimedia production services, from short web videos to feature length documentary production.

Ruga’s most recent projects include a USAID-funded documentary shot in Africa about innovative uses of text messaging to improve health care delivery in one of the world’s poorest countries; and a 5-camera, full length production of a live musical play performance in New York City.
